ExecuStay at The Renata at the Brandeis offers newly renovated and spacious luxury furnished apartments in a historic location central to a variety of Omaha area activities. Built in 1906, The Renata at the Brandeis, first served as the flagship department store for a chain of stores owned by J.L. Brandeis & Sons, more commonly known to Midwesterners as Brandeis. Considered one of Omaha's most prized symbols of modern culture, retail space occupied the first three stories and the basement until expansion in 1917 which added two more stories. By the 1950's Brandeis took up the whole facility. It was the intention of the company’s founder, Jonas Brandeis, to carry every item possible, including furniture. After a long history of service Brandeis closed its doors in 1980. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Brandeis has once again become a symbol of modern culture, offering luxury apartments and condominiums. Residences include stainless steel appliances, large walk-in closets, washer/dryer in each unit, and ceiling fans to name a few.
