Marriott ExecuStay Congratulates Piper Ayala, Corporate Housing Provider’s Association Volunteer of the Year

Corporate housing executive exemplifies Marriott’s “Spirit to Serve”

Bethesda, Md. – August 25, 2010 – Marriott ExecuStay® (http://www.ExecuStay.com), a leader in furnished apartments, temporary housing, and corporate apartments, congratulates Piper Ayala, vice president of Marriott ExecuStay-Midwest for recently receiving the Corporate Housing Provider’s Association (CHPA) Volunteer of the Year Award.

The Volunteer of the Year recognition is given to an outstanding provider or associate member who lends themselves to service in the corporate housing industry and/or CHPA.  “Piper is always looking for ways to improve the way CHPA works and what benefits are offered to its members,” said Adam Sherer, Marriott ExecuStay Vice President.  “She is selfless in her desire to ensure the success of the industry and CHPA members.”

Piper’s service to CHPA is a stellar example of Marriott’s “Spirit to Serve” philosophy.   While successfully overseeing operations for properties in 12 markets, Piper has been an active CHPA member and a volunteer with the association.  For the past nine years, she has demonstrated her passion for advancing issues that are beneficial to the industry.  Piper lends her expertise to a number of the association’s committees including the Annual Conference Committee where she consistently works to find ways to deliver value to CHPA members and other conference attendees.

The Volunteer of the Year recognition is given to an outstanding provider or associate member who lends themselves to service in the corporate housing industry and/or CHPA.

“I’m honored to be recognized for my volunteer service – something that I enjoy so much,” says Piper.  “When I joined CHPA, I wanted to get the most from my membership and felt that serving on a committee was the best way to do that. Through my committee involvement, I’m able to meet and learn from fellow members while also serving the organization.”

Recently elected to the CHPA Board of Directors, the Volunteer of the Year Award is the second Piper has received from the Association.
